26appears on the display.- Lightly grease the plates with melted butter- Add one dosing cup for each waffle area.- Spread the batter slightly and close the appliance.- Cook according to the time indicated in the recipes.If you set the timer, three beeps will sound at the end ofthe cooking cycle, the timer will disappear and "END"will appear on the display; the appliance switches offautomatically. If you do not select a time, at the end ofthe last waffle press the "start/stop" button to switch offthe appliance.- To cook additional waffles, simply add batter to thelower waffle plate and follow the above steps.Important! do not use metal tools when removingthe waffle from the waffle plates as they may scratch thenon-stick surface.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCEUser maintenance- Never use metal cleaning tools which could scratch thenon-stick plates. Use wood or heat-resistant plastictools.- Never leave plastic tools in contact with the hot plates,including the cleaning tool supplied.- Between cooking one food and the next, remove foodresidues through the grease drain hole and collect themin the grease tray, then clean with kitchen paper andmove on to the next cooking operation.- Before cleaning the appliance, always leave theappliance to cool down for at least 30 minutes.Cleaning and carePlease note: Before cleaning the appliance, makesure it has cooled down completely.At the end of cooking, turn the appliance OFF and unplugfrom the mains. Leave the appliance to cool down for at least30 minutes. Use the special tool supplied to remove any foodresidues from the plates. The tool can be washed by hand orin the dishwasher. Empty the grease tray. The grease tray canbe washed by hand or in the dishwasher.Press the plate release buttons (3) to remove the plates fromthe appliance. Before touching them, make sure they havecooled down completely. The cooking plates are dishwashersafe although frequent washing in a dishwasher could reducethe properties of the coating.
