2.6 Condensate drainage connectionFor models T20C-T24C-T40 fit a condensatewater drainage hose with a minimum diameterof 1” . Provide a waste pipe with a trap with adiameter of at least 1 1/2” at floor level.2.7 Information for the installation technicianBefore starting up the machine, check that it hasbeen correctly installed.1. Check that there are no gas leaks from weldingsor joints made during installation works.2. Check that the pipes connecting the condenserto the remote condensing unit have been wellinsulated.3. Check all wiring connections.4. Check electrical input.5. Check the standard pressure in the refrigerantsystem.6. Perform at least one blast freezing cycle (to theSET temperature) and one manual defrostingcycle. In the event that the appliance orthe remote condensing unit have not beentransported in a vertical position (e.g. onthe back) or have been overturned duringinstallation works, allow at least 4 hours beforestarting up the equipment.2.8 Safety and control systems• Door microswitch: shuts down fan operation inthe cell when the door is opened.• General fuses: protect the power circuit againstshort circuiting and overloads.• Compressor heat relay: intervenes in the eventof overloads or operating faults.• Safety pressure switch: intervenes in the event ofexcessive pressure in the refrigerant circuit.• Plug fuses: intervene in the event of verpressureor operating fault in the safety pressure switch(see above).• Chamber temperature control: operated by theelectronic board by means of a probe inside thecell.• Temperature control end defrost cycle:controlled by the electronic board by means ofthe probe in the evaporator.2.9 Appliance disposalAfter the useful life of the applicance has beenrealized, be sure to demolish and dispose of themachine in compliance with the regulationsapplied in the country of installation, particularly in regards to refrigerant gas andcompressor lubricant oil.
