Appendix 107Returning Items for Warranty Repair or CreditPrepare all items being returned, whether for repair or credit, as follows:1 Call Dell to obtain an authorization number, and write it clearly andprominently on the outside of the box.2 Include a copy of the invoice and a letter describing the reason for thereturn.3 Include any accessories that belong with the item(s) being returned(power cables, CDs, guides, and so on) if the return is for credit.4 Pack the equipment to be returned in the original (or equivalent)packing materials.You are responsible for paying shipping expenses. You are also responsiblefor insuring any product returned, and you assume the risk of loss duringshipment to Dell. Collect-on-delivery packages are not accepted.Returns that are missing any of the preceding requirements will be refusedat our receiving dock and returned to you.Regulatory InformationElectromagnetic Interference (EMI) is any signal or emission, radiated infree space or conducted along power or signal leads, that endangers thefunctioning of a radio navigation or other safety service or seriouslydegrades, obstructs, or repeatedly interrupts a licensed radiocommunications service. Radio communications services include but arenot limited to AM/FM commercial broadcast, television, cellular services,radar, air-traffic control, pager, and Personal Communication Services(PCS). These licensed services, along with unintentional radiators such asdigital devices, including computer systems, contribute to theelectromagnetic environment.
