When replacing a power supply, to avoid arcing and discoloration of the supplyand the chassis pins, please wait for the fans to stop rotating before reinserting the supply.Power Cord RequirementsIf using a power cord other then a Dell Force10 supplied power cord, the cord must terminate at a rightangle to the power module, see Figure 7-1. The power source end of the power cord must have anappropriately sized plug that complies with your local electrical codes.
