The user’s privilegelevel is the same as the privilege level assigned to the terminal line.To specify a password for the terminal line, use the following commands, in any order, in LINE mode:To view the password configured for a terminal, use the show config command in LINE mode.Enable and Disable Privilege LevelsTo set a user’s security level, use the enable or enable privilege-level commands in EXEC Privilege mode. Ifyou do not enter a privilege level, FTOS sets it to 15 by default.To move to a lower privilege level, enter the disable command followed by the level-number you wish to setfor the user in EXEC Privilege mode. If you enter the disable command without a level-number, yoursecurity level is 1.RADIUSRemote authentication dial-in user service (RADIUS) is a distributed client/server protocol. This protocoltransmits authentication, authorization, and configuration information between a central RADIUS serverand a RADIUS client (the Dell Force10 system). The system sends user information to the RADIUS serverand requests authentication of the user and password.
