Stacking | 219Stack Unit in Card-Problem State Due to Incorrect FTOS VersionProblem: A stack unit enters a Card-Problem state because the switch has a different FTOS version thanthe master unit (Figure 17-29). The switch does not come online as a stack unit.Resolution: To restore a stack unit with an incorrect FTOS version as a member unit, disconnect thestacking cables on the switch and install the correct FTOS version. Then add the switch to the stack asdescribed in Adding a Stack Unit. To verify that the problem has been resolved and the stacked switch isback online, use the show system brief command (Figure 17-30).Figure 17-29.
