4. Insert the hard-drive carrier into the hard-drive slot until the carrier connects with the backplane.5. Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and from theperipherals.3. Open the system.4. Disconnect the data/power cable from the hard drive.5. Press the release tab on the hard-drive carrier and slide the hard drive out of the hard-drive bay.CAUTION: To maintain proper system cooling, all empty hard-drive slots must have hard-drive blanksinstalled.6.
