128 Troubleshooting Your ProjectorImage is out of focus 1 Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens.2 Ensure that the projection screen is withinthe required distance from the projector1.31 ft [0.4 m] to 12.5 ft [3.82 m].The image is stretched whendisplaying a 16:9 DVDThe projector automatically detects the inputsignal format. It will maintain the aspect ratioof the projected image according to inputsignal format with an Original setting.If the image is still stretched, adjust the aspectratio in the Display Settings of the AdvancedSettings menu in the OSD.Image is reversed Select Projector Settings of the AdvancedSettings from the OSD and adjust theprojector mode.Lamp is burned out or makesa popping soundWhen the lamp reaches its end of life, it mayburn out and may make a loud popping sound.If this occurs, the projector does not turn backon. To replace the lamp, see "Changing theLamp" on page 134.LAMP light is solid amber If the LAMP light is solid amber, replace thelamp.LAMP light is blinking amber If the LAMP light is blinking amber, the lampmodule connection may be disrupted.
