Using the MENU keyThe MENU key is used to set up the BHT basic configuration listedbelow.Step 1 Press the MENU key.Step 2 Select the menu by moving the cursor vertically with the ▲ (up)or ▼ (down) keys.The selected menu is highlighted.Step 3 Set the menu by moving the cursor horizontally by using the ◄(left) or ► (right) keys.To exit this menu, press any one of the three keys, the MENU key, theESC key or the ENT key.Menu Description ValueBEEPERVOLUMEAdjusts the notification beeper volumefor code scanning completion.The volume is adjustable in 6 levels.0: Mute, 1(Low) to 5 (High)Note: Use the “Volume & Sounds” in thecontrol panel to adjust the audio soundvolume and change other soundsettings.Level 0 to 5VIBRATOR Enables or disables the vibrator to notifycode scanning completion. ON or OFFBRIGHTNESS Adjusts the LCD brightness in 4 levels. Level 0 to 3BRIGHTNESS(PS)Changes the LCD brightness for thepower save mode in 2 levels. Level 0 or 1BACKLIGHTTIME*Referred toas ”POWERSAVE” in version1.03 or earlier.Set the time for the LCD backlight to dimwhen the BHT is powered by the batteryand is not in use.Use the slider to set the time.Set the time inseconds(max.600seconds).The backlightstays on, if setto "Always On".RESET/FULLRESETPerforms a reset or full reset.Note: Use the “Reset” menu in theSystem Properties to disable the resetand full reset functions.(BhtShell>3:System Properties>Reset)NoneTOUCH PANEL Enable or disable the touch panel.
