Blower controls arelocated on the right side of switch bracket tothe left just inside louver panel.The BK manual blower and BKT thermostati-cally-controlled blower have an ON settingand an OFF setting. Blower will only run whenswitch is in the ON position. In the OFF posi-tion, blower will not operate.Note for BKT Only: If you are using BKTblower with optional thermostat (wall mountedor remote control) for fireplace, your fireplaceand blower will not turn on and off at the sametime. Fireplace may run for several minutesbefore blower turns on. After heater modulatesto the pilot position, blower will continue to run.Blower will shut off after firebox temperaturedecreases.The blower helps distribute heated air from thefireplace. Periodically check louvers of fireboxand remove any dust, dirt or other obstruc-tions that will hinder the flow of air.Check pilot flame pattern and burner flamepatterns often.PILOT ASSEMBLYThe pilot assembly is factory preset for theproper flame height. Alterations may haveoccurred during shipping and handling. Calla qualified service person to readjust the pilotif necessary.The height of thermopile must be 3/8" to 1/2"above pilot flame as shown in Figure 49. Thethermocouple must be at a height of about1/8" above pilot flame.
