The restrictionapplies to TV rating and movie rating if this data is transmitted. You mayset this restriction separately. The menu screen appears.2 Press the CH + and CH - buttons until the indicator next to V-CHIPSET flashes. then press the VOL + button. The PASSWORD screenappears.e3 Select and enter a password (4 digits) using the 0-9 numberbuttons, then press MENU/ENTER.4 Enter the same password again to confirm, then press MENU/ENTER to set the password.5 Press EXIT to return to the normal screen.Setting the V-ChipThe V-CHIP SET (DTV) can be selected only when the unit receives adigital broadcast using the new rating system. It may take severalminutes for the initial V-Chip Set-up to complete. At this time, somestations are still developing this signal. In those cases the V-CHIP SET(DTV) will not function.To set the V-Chip:1 Press MENU/ENTER.
