Sonix Vw2 Technical Manual10 SONIX VW2 TECHNICAL MANUAL TM368 / A May 2022 www.eaton.com4.7 Beacon output connectionThere are two independent Beacon output portsavailable on each Sonix Vw2 unit; both divided intoOutput and Return terminals.The Output terminals are the primary terminals and theReturn are optionally used to connect the return side ofa loop.Maximum cable section supported by the output portsare:Solid: 16.0 mm 2Stranded: 16.0 mm 2 including sleeved or non-sleeved ferruleWarning: Possible hazardous voltages present.Great care should be taken during installation andmaintenance of this unit. Cover should not beremoved during live operation.
