43PAS PRO-THATCH ATTACHMENTMisuse, improper assembly, or use of unapprovedattachments, can result in serious injury, engine failure,and voiding of warranty. Use only Echo attachmentsapproved for use on Pro Attachment Series models.Contact with moving work attachments can causeentanglement and serious injury. Keep clear of movingwork attachment.• ALWAYS check Pro-Thatch tines for damage andsecure attachment before using unit. Replace tinesif damaged or missing.• NEVER use ProThatch without dethatcher guard inplace. Operation without a guard exposes operatorto flying debris and rotating steel tines.• ALWAYS install J-Handle before using unit, andadjust position as needed to accommodate opera-tor. J-Handle provides best control and comfortwhen operating unit.• NEVER replace tines with engine running. Stopengine and disconnect spark plug lead.
