21REVERSING THE DOOR SWINGNOTE: DOORS ONDISPENSER MODELSDO NOT REVERSE.When reversing thedoor swing:• Read the instructionsall the way throughbefore starting.• Handle parts carefully toavoid scratching paint.• Set screws down by theirrelated parts to avoid usingthem in the wrong places.• Provide a non-scratchingwork surface for the doors.REMOVE FREEZER DOOR.a. Tape the door shut with masking tape.b. With a Phillips screwdriver,remove the hinge cover (onsome models). With aTorxdriver, remove 2 Torxscrews that hold the top hingeto the cabinet.c. Lift the hinge straight upto free the hinge pin from thesocket in the top of the door.d. Remove tape, tilt the dooraway from the cabinet and lift it to free itsbottom socket from the hinge pin on the centerhinge bracket.e. Set the door on a non-scratching surfacewith the outside up.2IMPORTANT: Once you begin, do not movecabinet until door-swing reversal is completed.These instructions are for changing thehinges from the right side to the left side.If you ever want to change the hinges back to theright side, follow these same instructions (merelyreverse all references to left and right).REMOVE FRESH FOOD DOOR.a. Tape the door shutwith masking tape.b. Remove the hingepin with a 3/8″ socketand ratchet.c. Remove tape and tiltthe door away from thecabinet. Remove andsave the washer on thehinge pin.d.
