Your HMI user access leveldetermines which D.20 RIO HMI features you have access to and what your privileges arein the run-time and configuration tools.For more information on the D.20 RIO HMI, refer to the online Help once you have loggedin.Accessing the HMIYou can use a network connection and your computer's Web browser to access the D.20RIO HMI.NOTEThe D.20 RIO HMI Login screen may not appear correctly if you are using Internet Explorer8 with the Security level set to High. To see the entire Login screen, set the Security level toMedium: go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Local Intranet > Custom Level >Reset to.The D.20 RIO HMI is based on the web-based programming language Java. The Webbrowser must be equipped with a plug-in that supports Java. The D.20 RIO is designed tooperate with version 6.0 (or later) of the Internet Explorer®. If you are using InternetExplorer, version 6.0 or later you may need to install the J2SE® Runtime Environment (JRE).You must have the JRE Version 6.0 (or later) installed and enabled on your PC to operatethe D.20 RIO HMI. When you log into the D.20 RIO, the D.20 RIO automatically detects ifyour Web browser has the JRE installed. If not, the JVM Detection window gives choices forinstalling the JRE.To access the D.20 RIOHMI over a networkconnection1. Open your Web browser and enter the URL (in the form of http://aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd) ofthe D.20 RIO. The Log In screen appears.2. Type your HMI Supervisor user name and password. The default user name issupervisor and the default password is super123$.3. Click Log In.If your login is successful, the D.20 RIO Home page appears.
