– 35 –Steam ComponentsMisting NozzleThe misting nozzle is located inside the dryer on theleft side of the rear bulkhead. The misting nozzleconsists of a brass orifice and a fine filter screen.If the orifice should become plugged or restricted,it should not be cleaned. Replace a plugged orrestricted misting nozzle.Note: Teflon® tape will be included with thereplacement misting nozzle.Misting Nozzle with Tefl on Tape AppliedTo access the misting nozzle, it is necessary toremove the drum. (See Drive Belt and Drum.) A 7/16”or 11-mm nut driver can be used to unscrew themisting nozzle from the nozzle housing.Misting NozzleNozzle HousingNozzle HousingTo remove the misting nozzle connector andhousing:1. Remove the misting nozzle. (See Misting Nozzle.)2. For front service, tilt the top of the rear bulkheadinward from the dryer frame. (See RearBulkhead.)3. For rear service, remove the back panel. (SeeBack Panel.)4. Press on the John Guest connector collar andrelease the water line from the misting nozzleconnector.5. Remove the Phillips-head screw that attachesthe misting nozzle connector to the nozzlehousing.6. Pull the misting nozzle connector out from thenozzle housing.7.
