Modifications reserved Page 11/66OPM_LPS_3UO_80K_M10_1US_V010.doc User Manual LP33 Series 80 & 100 UL S13 INTRODUCTION3.1 GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe LP33 Series Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) provides the energy supply for critical loads whichneed a reliable, continuous, and free from ‘voltage disturbances and frequency fluctuations’ supply.In case the utility fails, or it exceeds the permitted tolerances, the energy to supply the load is furnishedby the battery with a backup time dependent on its capacity, until the utility recovers.LP33 Series is a truly VFI double conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS),equipped with automatic bypass, where the load is normally supplied by theinverter.LP33 Series can be configured for ECO Mode permitting high operating efficiency.The main typical performances of the LP33 Series system are the following:• VFI (Voltage Frequency Independent) double conversion technology to provide an excellentquality power supply.• Input power factor >0.98.• Input current THD <10%.• Automatic bypass and manual bypass to improve reliability and maintenance.• Microprocessor controlled supervision.• Dual AC inputs (option).• ECO Mode operation.• Compact designed for commercial applications.• Low level acoustic sound, 68 dB (A).• Multi-language graphical LCD screen.• Total battery management: SBM (Superior Battery Management)• High battery capacity extendable in several battery cabinet configurations.• Wide rectifier input voltage tolerance: 177 - 229 Vac (Line-Line).• Wide rectifier input frequency tolerance: +/-10% (54 - 66 for 60 Hz).• RPA (Redundant Parallel Architecture) up to 4 units.• Compliance with UL standard 1778 and CSA C22.2.
