Close the door and press theSTART/PAUSE pad to resume cooking.• At any time during cooking you can turn theselector dial to change the cooking time.You can change power levels by pressingPOWER/TEMR• Speedcooking meats in the oven mayproduce smoke.• To cook for additional time after a cookingcycle has been completed, use the Resumefeature as instructed on the display.Things thatare normalCooking Times Oven Heat• When speedcooking preprogrammed foods, •you may see OPTIMIZING COOK TIME in thedisplay several seconds after you pressSTART/PAUSE. The oven automatically •senses the electrical voltage level in yourhome and adjusts the cooking time up ordown for proper cooking.Cooling Fans• The fans will be on during cooking. At the •end of cooking, the fans may continue torun for a short time to cool internal •components. The fans will automaticallyshut off when the internal parts of the ovenhave cooled.• The oven vent will emit warm air whilethe oven is on.Lights• When the oven is on, light may be visiblearound the door or outer case.• The halogen lights will dim and cycleon and off during a speedcook cycle,sometimes even at full power levels.This is normal. The oven senses theheat level and adJusts automatically.No preheating time is required duringSpeedcook cycles. The oven begins cookingimmediately.The door and inside of the oven will be veryhot. Use caution when opening the doorand removing food. Be cautious of steam orvapor that may escape from around thedoor.Do not use cookware or coverings madeof paper, plastic, or foil when speedcooking.When cooking for an extended periodof time, the oven may automaticallyreduce the power levels to maintainthe appropriate level of oven heat.Sounds• Clicks and a fan blowing are normalsounds during cooking. The electroniccontrol is turning components on and off.Interference• TV/radio interference might be noticedwhile using the microwave, similar to theinterference caused by other smallappliances. It does not indicate a problemwith the microwave. Move the radio or TV asfar away from the microwave as possible, orcheck the position of the TV/radio antenna.ll
