IMPORTANTSAFETYINSTRUCTIONSAdvantium OvenWARNING!Microwave-safecookwareThe turntable mustalways be in place whenusing the oven.The clear glass tragshould alwags be in placewhen mlcrowavlng.Make sure to use suitable cookware during microwave cooking. Most glass casseroles,cooking dishes, measuring cups, custard cups, pottery or china dinnerware which does nothave metallic trim or glaze with a metallic sheen can be used. Some cookware is labeled"suitable for microwadng."• Do not use the wire oven rack formicrowave.• Place food or microwavable containerdirectlg on the clear glass trag to cookgour food.• Use of a metal trag during microwavecooking will result in inferior cookingperformance.• Ifgou are not sureif a dish is microwave-safe, use this test:Place both the dishgou are testing and aglass measuring cup How to test for amicrowave-safe dish.filled with 1 cup ofwater in the oven. Whenmicrowave& the metal can burn the floorof the oven or ignite a paper towel.Do not use recgcled paper products.Recgcled paper towels, napkins andwaxed paper can contain metal fleckswhich mag cause arcing or ignite.Paper products containing nglon ornglon filaments should be avoided,as theg mag also ignite.Paper towels, waxed paper and plasticwrap can be used to cover dishes inorder to retain moisture and preventspattering. Be sure to vent plastic wrapso steam can escape.Not all plastic wrap is suitable for usein microwave ovens. Check the packagefor proper use."Bailable" cooking pouches and tightlgclosed plastic bags should be slit, piercedor vented as directed bg packageinstructions. If theg are not, plastic couldburst during or immediatelg aftercooking, possiblg resulting in injurg. Also,plastic storage containers should be atleast partiallg uncovered because thegform a tight seal. When cooking withcontainers tightlg covered with plasticwrap, remove covering carefullg anddirect steam awag from hands and face.Plastic cookware-Plastic cookwaredesigned for microwave cooking is verguseful, but should be used carefullg. Evenmicrowave-safe plastic mag not be astolerant of overcooking conditionsas are glass or ceramic materials. Plasticmag soften or char if subjected to shortperiods of overcooking. In longerexposures to overcooking, the foodand cookware could ignite.Follow these guidelines:1.
