INSTALLING THE BLOWER TOTHE PLENUMOrient the blower discharge opening tomatch the ductwork in Steps 5 and 6. Slidethe four threaded studs on the side of theblower housing into the four holes on theside of the plenum.NOTE: See Step 13 for installing the transitionduct to the blower. It may be easier to installthe transition duct to the blower beforeinstalling the blower to the plenum.From the vent opening in the top of thecooktop, fasten the blower assembly securelyto the plenum with four (4) nuts.INSTALLING THE HOLD-DOWNRETAINERSNOTE: Check for glass flatness in Step 9before installing hold-down retainers.Secure cooktop to the counter using thehold-down retainers and thumb screwsshipped with the unit (one on each side).Hold-down retainerHold-downretainerThumb screwCountertop10 12INSTALLING THE BLOWERPLENUM TO THE COOKTOPSlide the plenum, with the blower opening onthe left, into the opening in the bottom of thecooktop. Push up on the plenum until thestops on the plenum contact the bottom ofthe cooktop, and snap the plenum into place.(You may have to move the plenum back andforth to work it into place.)Secure the plenum to the bottom of thecooktop, on each side, using the four (4)screws provided.
