This will increaseice production for the following48 hours or until you press thepad again.Door AlarmTo set the alarm, press this paduntil the indicator light comes on.This alarm will sound if eitherdoor is open for more than3 minutes. The light goes outand the beeping stops when youclose the door.OtherdispensercontrolsSelect CUBED ICE , CRUSHED ICEor WATER .Press the glass gently against the top of thedispenser cradle.The spill shelf is not self-draining. To reducewater spotting, the shelf and its grille shouldbe cleaned regularly.NOTE: If no water is dispensed when the refrigeratoris first installed, there may be air in the water linesystem. Press the dispenser arm for at least 2 minutesto remove trapped air from the water line and to fillthe water system. It may not crush ordispense well.• Avoid overfilling glass with ice and use ofnarrow glasses. Backed-up ice can jam thechute or cause the door in the chute tofreeze shut. If ice is blocking the chute,poke it through with a wooden spoon.• Beverages and foods should not bequick-chilled in the ice storage drawer.Cans, bottles or food packages in thestorage drawer may cause the icemakeror auger to jam.• To keep dispensed ice from missing the glass,put the glass close to, but not touching, thedispenser opening.• Some crushed ice may be dispensed eventhough you selected CUBED ICE. Thishappens occasionally when a few cubesaccidentally get directed to the crusher.• After crushed ice is dispensed, some watermay drip from the chute.• Sometimes a small mound of snow will formon the door in the ice chute.
