If required, move theswitch-off time with the rotary selector. Confirmwith ™.4 Remove all accessories and coarse soiling from theoven interior. Confirm with ™.5 Press I to start. The cleaning time elapses on thedisplay. If the switch-off time has been shifted, thetime up to the start of pyrolytic self-cleaningelapses in the display. The lamp in the oven interiorstays off.A signal sounds after 3 hours. A message appears inthe display. Once the appliance has cooled down, wipethe remaining ash out of the interior with a moist cloth.Note: For your safety, the oven door is locked. Whencooling down, the door lock is released when thetemperature drops below 200°C.Cleaning accessories with pyrolyticself-cleaningGaggenau baking trays and grill trays are coated withpyrolysis-proof enamel. To arrive at an optimum cleaningresult, you are nevertheless advised to remove allaccessories from the oven before the pyrolytic cleaningprocess. Only this will ensure optimum heat distribution.If you would like to remove burnt-in residues from yourbaking tray or your grill tray with pyrolytic self-cleaning,it is imperative that you observe the following notes:Notes‒ Remove extreme soiling, roast juice and foodremainders before pyrolytic self-cleaning. Foodremainders, grease or roast juice can catch fireduring pyrolytic self-cleaning.‒ Only ever insert one baking tray or one grill tray inthe lowest shelf in the oven.‒ Insert the baking tray or the grill tray fully.‒ The wire rack, rotisserie spit, cast roaster, bakingstone, core temperature probe or other accessoriesmust not be cleaned by pyrolytic self-cleaning.3\URO\WLFVHOIFOHDQLQJ_
