Then polish the cooking compartment andthe panel with a soft cloth.Descaling programmeRegular descaling keeps the appliance in goodcondition. The descaling program descales and rinsesthe appliance fully automatically.Depending on the type of water and your use of theappliance, a message in the display reminds you to runthe descaling program.To prevent damage to the appliance, the operatingmodes that use steam are disabled after this messagehas been repeated. You can still use the appliance torun operating modes that do not require steam. Onlyonce the descaling program has been run can theappliance be used again without restrictions.The descaling program takes 1 hour 45 minutes frombeginning to end.For the descaling program, you require specialdescaling tablets. These are available from the after-sales service or from our online shop (CL S30 040, setwith four descaling tablets).Caution!– Risk of damage to the appliance: Limescale maydamage the appliance. Descale the applianceregularly.– Risk of damage to the appliance: Using thewrong descaler may damage the appliance. Onlyuse the specified descaling tablets.– Risk of damage to the cooking compartment:Use the descaling tablet for the descaling programonly. Place the descaling tablet into the tank. Neverplace the descaling tablet in the cookingcompartment or heat it up in the cookingcompartment.Notes– Remove all accessories from the cookingcompartment before starting the descaling program(wire rack, cooking containers, core temperatureprobe).– The strainer filter must remain inserted in thecooking compartment floor while the descalingprogram is in progress.– Always allow the descaling program to run to theend. The descaling program cannot be cancelled.– Depending on the water type and your use of theappliance, descaling may still be required even ifyou use the water descaling system (optionalaccessory GF 111 100).
