If the broiler hasentered Sleep mode,select WAKE to raisethe platen.2. Select the recipe tocook.3. If the broileris at the wrongtemperature for theitem selected, a “TooHot” or “Too Cool”warning will appear.PLEASEWAITWait for the broiler to reachtemperature or select adifferent recipe.4. Lay product on the grates using the appropriateplacement guidelines. More detail see “CHICKEN /NUGGETS PRODUCT PLACEMENT” on page 265. Press STARTor the GREENpush button toclose the platen.Start the cycle. Aprogress ring andcountdown timer isdisplayed.6. Start the cycle. Aprogress ring andcountdown timer isdisplayed.Note: Touching the red “ ” orpushing the green button duringcooking stops the cook cycle, raisesthe platen, and displays a warning.7. When the cookcycle has finished a“DONE” message isdisplayed, usuallywith an audiblealarm. Removethe product andtouch the greentick mark or pressthe green button toacknowledge the“DONE” message.Note: If the wrong recipe was selected, the recipecan be changed by stopping the cook cycle,acknowledging the warning, selecting the correctrecipe, and pressing START or the GREEN push buttonagain. Changes should be made within thirty (30)seconds to avoid overcooking the product.SAUSAGE or BACON: After a cook cycle has ended,if the cooked product fails to match the colorrequirements in the Test Quality Photos, cook thebatch for an additional 45 seconds, by pressing the(+45 sec) icon. The platen will close and the productwill cook for the additional time.
