Periodic inspections by your dealer or aqualified service agency are recommended.NOTE: Many parts of the equipment are raw steel, i.e..,griddle top and solid hot top and can react with moistureforming rust. This is normal and not considered a defect.A light coating of salt free oil may be applied to preventfurther rusting.Uncrating1. Check the crate for possible damage sustainedduring transit. Carefully remove the unit from thecrate and again check for damage. Any damageto the appliance must be reported to the carrierimmediately.2. All packing material must be removed from theunit. The protective material covering the stainlesssteel must be removed immediately, after the unit isinstalled.3. All ranges are shipped from the factory with legs orcasters fitted unless specially ordered without.4. The splash back and high shelf is packed and orderedseparately.5. Do not remove permanently affixed labels, warningsor data plates from the appliance, for this may voidapprovals and create a safety hazard.Rating PlateThe data plate is readily accessible, located behindthe lower panel on ranges & behind the drip tray onsalamanders. It contains all the pertinent informationrequired by the installer.When corresponding with the factory or your localauthorized factory service center regarding serviceproblems or replacement parts, be sure to refer to theparticular unit by the correct model number (includingthe prefix and suffix letters and numbers) and thewarranty serial number.
