Values range from–160 to +160.EXTENDED TIME:This option will add 6, 4 and 2 seconds to the time ofthe next three cooks respectively if the grill has had noactivity for 5 minutes. Provided the temperature is not25°F above set temperature for either the grill or theplaten.OPERATION continuedINSTANT ON TIME:This can be set in the range of 00:00 to 00:40. Instanton will turn on the heat zone(s) as soon as a cook cyclestarts.START DELAY:This number is how long the operator must hold theGREEN (‘CANCEL/RAISE’) and BLACK buttonsto start a cooking cycle for 2-sided recipes only. Therewill be one beep when the cook is started and anotherbeep when the START DELAY time is reached. If theGREEN (‘CANCEL/RAISE’) and BLACK buttons arereleased before that time the cook will be canceled. After each product load is removed, Use a grillscraper to scrape grease on lower grill plate fromfront to back only. Do not scrape left to right acrossthe lower grill plate with the grill scraper.2. Use a grill squeegee to clean release material sheeton upper platen in a downward motion. Do notpress hard against the release material sheet toprevent scratching or tearing.3. Push the grease to the rear of the grill, or pull it tothe front trough. Then, squeegee the grease into thebuckets on either side. Do not use the scraper forthis step.4. Use a clean, damp cloth to clean back splash andbullnose areas as needed during operation.Note: To increase life of release material sheets, wipethem down with a folded clean, damp cloth at leastfour times during each hour of operation.Daily Cleaning:Warning: The upper platen surface and edges are veryhot! To prevent burn injuries, use extreme caution whenwiping down release sheets and platen edges.1. Press the or button to obtain the menu item“CLEAN MODE.”2. Press to acknowledge that Clean Mode is desired.This will cause the appliance (grill and platen, ifselected) to heat to the Clean Temperature.3. “READY TO CLEAN” will be displayed when thegrill is at the proper cleaning temperature and anaudible alarm will sound.4. To exit Cleaning Mode, press . The Display willshow “OFF.””5. Wearing protective gloves, empty and replace thegrease troughs.6. Wipe down the exposed surface of the release sheetwith a clean, damp cloth.
