Astro Dog Tracking System Owner’s ManualGpS appLIcatIonSSaved track on the mapTo calculate the area of a track:1. With the Track page open and the Track Log on,press MENU to open the Options Menu.2. Select Area Calculation to open the AreaCalculation page.3. Press ENTER to start the area calculation. As youbegin to move and define the area’s boundaries, aStop button appears at the bottom of the page.4. When finished defining the area, press ENTER toopen the page with a Save button.5. Press ENTER to save the new track to the SavedTracks list on the Tracks pageTrack ProfilesAfter you save a track, you have a record of the path youtraveled and a track altitude profile.To view a track profile:1. Open the Saved Track page, and press MENU >select Profile to view the Track Profile.The beginning and end of the track is marked bya flag. You can scroll across the track profile bypressing left or right on the ROCKER.As you scroll across the profile, the elevation foreach point on the profile is shown at the top of thepage, and the distance from the Begin point andthe End point are shown at the bottom.2. At any point along the profile, you can pressENTER to show that point on the map.3. Press MENU > select Zoom Ranges and HideSymbols options. To zoom ranges only, press upor down on the ROCKER.
