The GMX 200display is not a requirement for Class B TAWS installations. The GMX 200 improves the pilot’ssituational awareness and complies with AC 23-18, paragraph 7.h for TAWS displays. The software thatdisplays data from TAWS sensors (listed in X Appendix CX, Section C.6) on the GMX 200 has been certifiedto RTCA/DO-178B Level C.
