Remember thatthe GPS is not relying on the LORAN signal for navigation and actually convertsthe TD coordinate to a useful latitude/longitude coordinate before storing thewaypoint to memory or using it for navigation. Because of this, the unit cannavigate to a TD coordinate anywhere in the world. For more information on LORAN TDs, you can download Garmin’s Loran TDPosition Format Handbook from the Garmin Web site.Caring for the GPSMAP 2106/2110The GPSMAP 2106/2110 case is constructed of high-quality materials and doesnot require user maintenance except cleaning.Cleaning the CaseClean the unit’s outer casing (except for the screen) using a cloth dampened witha mild detergent solution.
