Pressing MEnU from this page allows you to add anew item, Delete a highlighted entry, or Delete all entries.DSC DirectoryDSC Directoryentres. PressENTER toopen the entryreview page.Blank entry.Press ENTER toadd a Directoryentry.To add a new Directory entry:1. Open the DSC Directory in the Main Menu.2. Use the ROCKER to highlight the first blank space in thedirectory list, and press ENTER.ORPress MENU, highlight New Item, and press ENTER.3. Enter the MMSI number, the name, and any comments.4. When finished, highlight OK, and press ENTER.New Directory Item PageEnter theMMSI number,Name, and aComment nthe fields.Highlight OKand pressENTER to savethe directoryentry.When a distress call, position report or directory item is named, thename is attached to that particular MMSI number. If a name is used,all DSC entries of the same MMSI number show the name.Another way to input a name is from the Entry Review Page or theDSC Distress Call or DSC Position Report Pages. The Name andMMSI are sent to other Garmin GPS units: Only the MMSI numbersare sent to other non-Garmin DSC users.
