43TROUBLESHOOTINGPossible problem Easy solutionThe mince is not fine enough. Use a smaller grinding disc and/or mince the ingredients more thenonce.There are still ingredients in thefeed tube but no mince is comingout of the mincer.The mincer is blocked. Turn the appliance off immediately and operateaccording to the instructions ›Clear a blocking‹.The motor stops running whileoperating.The overload protection might got activated. Turn the appliance offimmediately and operate according to the instructions ›Clear a blocking‹.After cleaning the motor does notget started again when turning theappliance on.• Is the power cord plugged in?• The motor might be blocked with some hard substance (for examplea bone). Turn the appliance off immediately and pull the plug.• Disassemble and clean the appliance. Operate according to theinstructions ›Care and cleaning‹.• If the problem is not solved after the cleaning, take the appliance fortechnical maintenance and repair to an authorised service centre.The mincer blocks up permanentlywhile operating.• To ensure that the mincer does not seize, never operate it underexcessive pressure. Operate in a slow and constant pace. Do not tryto rush the procedure by pushing down the meat with force.• For mincing hard ingredients really fine start with the grinding discwith the bigger holes. Mincing the second time use the finer mincerplate.The worm housing moves or loose-ned while operating.The screw plug loosened. Turn the appliance off immediately. Press theworm housing with one hand against the motor housing using the otherhand to tighten the screw plug turning it clockwise.The mince leaks out at the side ofthe closing ring.The closing ring is not screwed on tight enough. Turn the appliance offimmediately and then pull the plug. Tighten the closing ring but do notoverwind the winding. If the problem still occurs disassemble and cleanthe appliance.
