All connections must betorqued to specification during installation. Refer toSpecifications, Hydraulic Hose and Fitting TorqueSpecifications.1 Remove the case drain hydraulic hose fromthe top of the function pump.Note: The case drain hose is the smaller of the twohoses on top of the function pump and closest tothe drive pump.2 Locate and open the hydraulic tank shut-offvalve at the hydraulic tank that supplieshydraulic oil to the function pump. Do not openthe valve for the drive pump.3 When hydraulic fluid begins to come out of thecase drain port of the function pump, install thefunction pump case drain hose.4 Clean up any oil that may have spilled.Properly discard the used oil.5 Start the engine from the ground controls.6 Check for hydraulic leaks. How to Adj ust the Functi on Pump Standby Pr ess ureHow to Adjust the Function PumpStandby Pressure1 Connect a 0 to 5000 psi / 0 to 350 barpressure gauge to the test port on the functionmanifold2 Start the engine from the ground controls andallow the engine to run at low idle.3 Observe the pressure reading on the pressuregauge.Result: The gauge should show 250 psi /17 bar.Result: If the gauge does not show 250 psi /17 bar, proceed with step 4 to adjust thefunction pump standby pressure.4 Loosen the set screw for the standby pressureadjustment screw.1 standby pressure set screw2 standby pressure adjustment screw
