Besure to open the two hydraulictank valves before performingthis procedure.1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 50 bar pressuregauge to either the "A" or "B" test port on thedrive pump.2 Perkins models: Disconnect the enginewiring harness from the fuel shutoff solenoid atthe injector pump.Deutz models: Hold the manual fuel shutoffvalve clockwise to the closed position.3 Have another person crank the engine with thestarter motor for 15 seconds, wait 15 seconds,then crank the engine an additional15 seconds or until the pressure reachesapproximately 250 psi / 17 bar.4 Perkins models: Connect the engine wiringharness to the fuel solenoid.Deutz models: Release the manual fuelshutoff valve.5 Start the engine from the ground controls.6 Check for hydraulic leaks.
