You must correctly connect the PGND cable wheninstalling or using the router.The power input end of the router is equipped with a noise filter. The neutral ground of the power inputend is directly connected to the chassis and called PGND (also known as chassis ground). The PGNDmust be well grounded so that induced current and leakage current can be safely led to the ground andthe EMS of the router can be reduced. The PGND cable can also protect the router against high lightningvoltage resulting from external network lines such as E1/T1 line or ISDN/PSTN line.The protection grounding terminal marked with a grounding label is located on the rear panel of thechassis, as shown in the following figure:
