48Operation3.5 Function faultsThe following applies when lo-cating the cause of functionalfaults and clearing them:Switch the vehicle off, removethe key and disconnect the bat-tery plug!3.5.1 Error code tableIn the case of system errors, a four-digiterror code appears in the left-hand op-erating panel in addition to the serviceindicator (wrench symbol).The dots in the error/service code flash.Clear the fault or note down the error/service code and inform your author-ized Hako dealer.Error code Fault Cause Solution1.2.5.2. The brushes remain stoppedbecause the thermostaticswitch has been tripped.The motor has overheated;foreign bodies have possiblyjammed between the brush andshaft (e.g. tape and such).• Check the brushes for foreign bodiesand remove them, as necessary.• Allow the motor to cool down.• If the problem reoccurs, determine thecause of overheating; contact anauthorized Hako service center, ifnecessary.1.2.6.1. The brushes remain stoppedbecause the anti-blockingsystem has been tripped.Foreign bodies(e.g. tape or such)block the brushes• Check the brushes for foreign bodiesand remove them, as necessary.1.2.6.3.
