10Safety Information1.4 Maintenance information• The maintenance work andmaintenance intervals prescribed inthe operating manual must beadhered to.• Operating personnel must completethe necessary daily and weeklymaintenance work. All othermaintenance work must becompleted at your nearest Hakoservice center.• The machine must be inspected by arecognized technical expert inrespect of operational safety, withinthe terms of the applicable accidentprevention laws, at reasonableintervals (we recommend at leastonce a year) and followingmodification or repairs.• Spare parts must comply with theminimum technical requirementsstipulated by the manufacturer! Thisis ensured by the use of originalspare parts.• The machine must be switched offprior to cleaning or servicing it or toreplacing parts.• Suitable tools must be used forcleaning and maintenance work.• When working with the hood raised,it must be opened up fully to preventit from accidentally dropping orslamming shut.• When working on the electricalsystem, always disconnect thebattery cable (only HakoHamster 800 E).• Batteries may only be handled andchanged by properly skilledmaintenance personnel (only HakoHamster 800 E).• Pay attention that the insulation ofthe charger cable is not damagedand cannot be damaged during thecharging process. The cable mustnot chafe against anything. In thecase of defective insulation, do notuse the on-board charger (only HakoHamster 800 E).• Check the exhaust system at regularintervals (only HakoHamster 800 V).• It is not permitted to clean themachine with a pressure washer orsteam blaster.• It is not permitted to use aggressiveand corrosive cleaning agents.• Allow the machine to dry properlyafter being cleaned, e.g. over theweekend.• Do not carry out any welding, drilling,sawing or grinding work on the framesections. Damaged parts may onlybe changed at an authorized Hakoservice center.
