Drive to the ground surface to becleaned.To clear up coarse waste up toa maximum of 3 cm diameter,raise the folding apron. To dothis, draw the lever at the topleft of the handlebar back.Steps and curbs up to a heightof 4 cm can be driven over,carefully. When driving overthresholds, release the drivebar and tip the machine back alittle so that the front roller cannegotiate the step.7. Operate the shaking deviceoccasionally, refer to paragraph”Operating the shaking device”.8. Check the contents of the two dirthoppers regularly and empty themas necessary, refer to paragraph”Emptying the dirt hoppers”.Do not overload the dirthoppers! This can affect thestopping distance and theparking brake is only designedto cope with the permissibletotal weight. Caution,particularly when sweeping updirt such as metallic chippings!When driving up slopes withoverloaded dirt hoppers, thereis a risk of the machine tippingover to the rear!Tip out the dirt hoppers from alow height when emptyingthem to prevent dust swirlingaround!
