Adding and replacing system board components 7-7Replacing the system batteryFollow these steps to replace the battery:1. Note the orientation of the battery in the bracket.2. Press outward on the metal latch and lift the battery out.3. Insert a new 3V lithium battery (CR2032) into the bracket and press it downuntil the securing clip clicks and locks the battery in if you replace the systembattery, you need to reset the system date and time in Setup.INote:Before replacing the lithium battery review thelithium battery notice on “Lithium batterynotice” on page xi.Important:Make sure you insert the battery with thepositive side on top. A plus (+) sign indicatesthe positive side.
