Read the safety information that begins on page “Safety” on page vii and“Installation guidelines” on page 25.2. Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords.Note: When you disconnect the power source from the server, you lose theability to view the LEDs because the LEDs are not lit when the powersource is removed. Before you disconnect the power source, make anote of which LEDs are lit; then, see the Problem Determination andService Guide for information about how to solve the problem.3. Remove the server top cover (see “Removing the server top cover” on page27).4. Remove the PCI riser-card assembly (see “Removing the PCI riser-cardassembly” on page 29).5.
