Reinstalling the side coverIf you removed the bezel, reinstall it before you reinstall the side cover. See“Reinstalling the two-piece bezel” on page 42.Note: The rear adapter-retention bracket rests against the server side cover. Youmight find it easier to lay the server on its side to replace the side cover.Cover-releaselatchKey lockTo reinstall the side cover, complete the following steps:1. Before you install the side cover, make sure that all cables, adapters, and othercomponents are installed and seated correctly and that you have not left loosetools or parts inside the server. Also, make sure that all internal cables arecorrectly routed.Note: The cover-release latch must be in the unlocked (opened) position beforeyou install the side cover.2. Insert the tabs inside the cover into the slots on the server chassis.Note: Make sure that each tab on the side cover is in its corresponding slotyou close the cover-release latch.3.
