173BASIC OPERATION3D Receiving note• Vibration function (Depends on the verson)When the matched RX code sgnal s receved, the transcevermay vbrate for a specfed tme perod, dependng on the pre-settng. Push any key or [PTT] to stop the vbraton.NOTE:• The transcever cannot stop the vbraton suddenly after push-ng any key or [PTT].• The vbraton sound may be heard at the communcatonparty, or be recorded f the recordng functon s actvatedwhen [PTT] s pushed to stop the vbraton.D Transmitting notes• Transmit inhibit functionThe transcever has several nhbt functons whch restrct trans-msson under the followng condtons:- The channel s n mute condton (‘Inaudble’ condton; “ ”does not appear).- The channel s busy.- Un-matched (or matched) CTCSS s receved. (Dependng onthe pre-settng)- The selected channel s a ‘receve only’ channel.• Time-out timerAfter contnuous transmsson for the pre-programmed tme perod,the tme-out tmer starts, causng the transcever to stop transmt-tng.• Penalty timerOnce the tme-out tmer starts, transmsson s further nhbted fora perod determned by the penalty tmer. |
