Set LIGHT soil level by entering 200 using the numberpads for two hours of cleaning time. Press the Enter pad.ORSelect MEDIUM for a moderately soiled oven and threehours of cleaning time.To Delay a Self-Clean Cycle:1. Press Clean pad.2. REMOVE RACKS will be displayed.Remove the racks.3. Select CONTINUE using the Quickset pad.4. Set LIGHT soil level by entering 200 using the numberpads for two hours of cleaning time. Press the Enter pad.ORSelect MEDIUM for a moderately soiled oven and threehours of cleaning time.ORSelect HEAVY for a heavily soiled oven and four hours ofcleaning time.5. The door will lock. CLEAN, TIME, LOCKED and thecleaning time countdown will be displayedNotes:• If the oven door is left open, CLOSE DOOR will appear inthe display until the door is closed.• If more than 30 seconds elapse between pressing theClean pad and pressing a number pad, the program willautomatically return to the previous display.• The oven door will be damaged if it is forced to openduring cleaning or cooling process.• The first few times the oven is cleaned, some smoke andodor may be detected. This is normal and will lessen ordisappear with use. If the oven is heavily soiled, or if thebroiler pan was accidently left in the oven, excessivesmoke and odor may occur.• As the oven heats and cools, you may hear sounds ofmetal parts expanding and contracting. This is normaland will not damage your appliance.6. After door locks, press the More Options pad.7. Select DELAY using the Quickset pad.8. Select the number of hours you want to delay the start of theself-clean cycle.9. The delay time and cleaning time will be displayed.After Self-CleaningAbout one hour after the end of the clean cycle, the lockwill disengage and OVEN COOLING will go off in thedisplay. At this point, the door can be opened.Some soil may leave a light gray, powdery ash which can beremoved with a damp cloth. If soil remains, it indicates thatthe clean cycle was not long enough. The soil will be removedduring the next clean cycle.If the oven racks were left in the oven and do not slidesmoothly after a clean cycle, wipe racks and embossed racksupports with a small amount of vegetable oil to restore easeof movement.A white discoloration may appear after cleaning if acidic orsugary foods were not wiped up before the clean cycle. This isnormal and will NOT affect performance.ORSelect HEAVY for a heavily soiled oven and four hours ofcleaning time.5. CLEAN, TIME, LOCKED and the cleaning time countdownwill be displayed while the oven is cleaning. OVENCOOLING will appear in the display when the cleaningtime has been completed and the oven is still locked.Important: The door lock will disengage approximately onehour after the cleaning time is completed. OVEN COOLINGwill go off in the display when the oven door has unlocked.
