161. Position table at the horizontal (zero degreeson scale).2. Insert a small drill bit into the chuck.3. Place a scrap board flat on the table. Do notallow board to move from this position; useclamps to secure it if needed. Bring the bitdown until it leaves a slight perforation in theboard; then raise it back up.4. Connect power to the drill press, and turn onthe laser using the button at the front of thedrill press head.5. Failure to comply maycause serious injury.The LED indicator will display a green light whenthe start button has been pressed and the drillpress is operating.If power to the drill press isinterrupted, the machine will restartimmediately once power is restored, unless thered stop button has been pushed.
