– 3– For stubborn dirt, we recommend theuse of the dirt blaster as a special ac-cessory. DangerRisk of injury! Follow the respective safetyregulations when operating at gas stationsor other dangerous areas. Danger– Do not use high pressure cleanerswhen there has been an oil spill; movethe appliance to another spot and avoidany sort of spark formation.– Do not store, spill or use fuel in the vi-cinity of open flames or appliances suchas ovens, boilers, water heaters, etc.that have an ignition flame or can gen-erate sparks.– Keep even mildly inflammable objectsand materials away from the silencer (atleast 2 m).– Do not start the engine without the si-lencer; check, clean and replace, if re-quired, the silencer at regular intervals.– Do not use the engine in forest, bushesor grassy areas without fitting a sparkreceiver at the exhaust.– Except for setting jobs, do not run theengine when the air filter is removed orthere is no cover over the suction sup-port.– Do not make any adjustments to theregulator springs, regulator bars or oth-er parts that can bring forth an increasein the engine speed.– Risk of burns! Do not touch hot silenc-ers, cylinders or radiator ribs.– Do not put hands or feet close to mov-ing or rotating parts.– Risk of poisoning! The appliance shouldnot be operated in closed rooms.– Please follow the national rules andregulations for fuel spray jets of the re-spective country.– Please follow the national rules andregulations for accident prevention ofthe respective country. Fuel spray jetsmust be tested regularly and the resultsof these tests must be documented inwriting.– The heating appliance of the machine isan ignition plant. All national laws andregulations about heating systems mustalso be followed.– As per the applicable national guide-lines, the first time this high-pressurecleaner must be taken into operation bya skilled person. KÄRCHER has al-ready performed this initial start-up foryou and has documented it accordingly.The documentation can be requested atyour KÄRCHER partner. Please havethe part and plant number of the appli-ance available when enquiring aboutthe documentation.– We would like to point out that the appli-ance must be repeatedly checked by askilled person as prescribed by the ap-plicable national regulations. DangerRisk of injury!– Only use original high-pressure hoses.– The high-pressure hose and the injec-tion system must be suitable for themaximum operating pressure given inthe Technical Data.– Avoid contact with chemicals.– Check the high-pressure hose daily.Do not use hoses with kinks.Stop using the high-pressure hose if theexternal wire layer is visible.Please do not let mineral oil contaminat-ed waste water reach soil, water or thesewage system.
