12KAWAI DIGITAL PIANO CE200Quick Start1.1 S ETTING UP THE PIANOThe first thing you’ll need to do before playing the piano is to set up theinstrument.ASSEMBLING THE STANDFirst, you need to assemble the stand unit. Assemble the stand followingthe instructions at the beginning of this manual.SUPPLYING AC POWERThe CE200 piano is equipped with stereo speakers and an amplifier. Youdo not need any other equipment to play your piano. You can enjoy theCE200 piano wherever AC power is available. Simply connect the powercable that comes with the CE200 piano to an AC outlet.Connect the AC power cable to the piano’s power jack and theother end of the cable to the AC outlet on the wall.1.2 P OWER S WITCHPress this button to turn on the power.Pressing it again will turn off the power.Pressing this button while holding down the REC and PLAY/STOP buttonswill erase all the songs currently stored in the Recorder. (See page 26.)1.3 VOLUME S LIDERThis slider controls the master volume level of the piano’s sound.Move this slider to the right to increase the volume and move tothe left to decrease the volume.This slider also controls the headphone’s volume and the LINE outputlevel of the piano’s sound.1.4 H EADPHONESFor private performances you may want to use the headphones. Thespeakers will be turned off automatically when the headphones areplugged in, and the CE200 piano will only be heard through theheadphones. The CE200 piano has two headphones jacks.1.5 D EMO SONGSThe CE200 has 18 built-in sound demo songs. Each of the demo songspresents a musical piece to introduce the different preset sounds.1.
