Setting Up42Ñ Learning function of steeringremoteThis function is available only when yourvehicle is equipped with the electrical steeringremote controller.If your steering remote controller is notcompliant, learning may not be completedand error message may appear.1 Touch [Steering Remote Controller] inthe User Interface screen.hh Steering Remote Controller Settingscreen appears.2 Press and hold the steering remotecontroller buttonNOTE• You can have the unit learned all buttonsat a time. In that case, press the all buttonsone at a time and after pressing all of them,touch [Learning completed] in SteeringRemote Controller Setting screen. However,new functions cannot be learned after thisoperation.3 Touch the function you want to set.4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 as necessary.5 Touch [Learning completed].NOTE• When changing the function already learned,press and hold the button you want to changein step 2 and then touch to select the changedfunction from the function list.• Confirm the contents of the settable function onthe function list. You cannot edit the function list.• To initialize the contents, touch [Learninginitialisation] of [Steering RemoteController] in User Interface screen. After youtouch [Initialise], a confirmation messageappears. Follow the message and complete theoperation.Special SetupYou can setup Special parameters.1 Press the [MENU] button.hh Popup menu appears.2 Touch [SETUP].hh SETUP screen appears.3 Touch [Special].hh Special screen appears.4 Set each item as follows.■ [DEMO]Set the demonstration mode. Default is "ON".■ [SETUP Memory]Locks or unlocks the Audio SETUP Memory/Recall/Clear.■ [Audio SETUP Memory]Memorizes the current audio setting.• Fader/ Balance, Speaker / X’over, Equalizer(User Preset, SW Level), Position/DTA,Sound Effect (P.46)■ [Audio SETUP Recall]Recalls the memorized audio setting.■ [Audio SETUP Clear]Clears the AUDIO SETUP Memory and thecurrently memorized audio setting.
