Although the navigation system is aprecision navigation device, any navigationdevice can be misused or misinterpreted and,therefore, become unsafe.Ñ IMPORTANT INFORMATIONVehicle Battery PreservationThis navigation system can be used when theignition key is turned to ON or ACC. To preservethe battery, however, it should be used withthe engine running whenever possible. Usingthe navigation system for a long time with theengine switched off can cause the battery to rundown.Map Data InformationOne of the goals of Garmin is to providecustomers with the most complete andaccurate cartography that is available to us ata reasonable cost. We use a combination ofgovernmental and private data sources, whichwe identify in product literature and copyrightmessages displayed to the consumer. Virtuallyall data sources contain some inaccurate orincomplete data.
