The following3 steps procedure is necessary.Step 1. Pairing (Registering from Bluetoothdevices)To make your Bluetooth device (cell-phone) usablewith this unit, you need to register it (pairing).1 Turn on this unitPress the [SRC] button.2 Start registering a this unit by operating theBluetooth deviceBy operating the Bluetooth device, register thehands-free unit (pairing). Select “KENWOOD BTCD/R-4P1”/ “KCA-BT200” from the list of connectedunits.3 Enter a PIN codeInput the PIN code (“0000”) in the Bluetoothdevice.Check that registration is complete on theBluetooth device.✍ PIN code is set to “0000” as the default. You canchange this code. Refer to Code> (page 48).4 By operating the Bluetooth device, start hands-free connection.Step 2. ConnectionIf you have registered 2 or more cell-phones, youneed to select one of them. For more details,see Connect> (page 48).When a cell-phone is connected, the “BT” indicatoris light up.Step 3. Hands-free phoningYou can do hand-free phoning when theconnection is made.⁄• When registering from this unit, refer to Bluetooth device> (page 47).• For details on the Bluetooth cell-phone with the hands-free function, see (page 57).Receiving a CallAnswering a Phone CallPress the [VOL] knob.⁄• The following operations disconnect the line:- Insert a CD.- Connect a USB device.• The name of the calling party is displayed if it has alreadybeen registered in the Phone Book.Rejecting an Incoming CallPress the [SRC] button or press the [ ] / [TI]button for at least 1 second.During a CallDisconnecting a CallPress the [SRC] button or press the [ ] / [TI]button for at least 1 second.Switching to the Private ModePress the [38] knob.Switches between Private talk (“PRIVATE”) andHands-free talk each time this button is pressed.⁄• Depending on the type of your cell-phone, switchingto the private talk mode may select the source that wasused before commencing the hands-free connection.If this happens, the source cannot be switched back tothe hands-free talk mode by operating this unit.
