When the power is turned OFF byAPO, the frequency disappears from the Display. If thereceiver squelch opens or any keys are pressed duringthe 1 hour period while APO is ON, the timer resets.When the squelch closes or key entry stops, the 1 hourtimer begins counting again from 0.
