Toconfirm the deletion, press the S or key.• To delete all messages, press and hold the A or # key for1 second. To confirm the deletion, press the S or key.SHORT MESSAGESTo send a short message, you must connect the transceiver toa PC. Ask your dealer for details.• Short messages can contain a maximum of 48 characters.• Received short messages are displayed the same as Statusmessages and are stored in the same Queue memory. Acombined maximum of 15 Status calls and short messages canbe stored in the Queue memory.LONG M ESSAGESTo send and receive long messages, you must connect thetransceiver to a PC.
